Transportation
Aging Gracefully, Senior Care Services, LLC also provides transportation services to assist you with your everyday needs. The following are only a few examples of how we can assist you.
- Transportation to and from Adult Day Care
- Transportation to Medical Appointments
- Transportation and Companion services during Outpatient Surgery (i.e. eye surgery, cardiac catheterization, chemotherapy and radiation treatments, etc)
- Transportation to run earrings (i.e. Shopping (grocery, holidays, etc), bank, beauty salon, physical and occupational therapy, pick up prescriptions from the pharmacy, post office, dry cleaning, etc)
These transportation services may be provided with or without companion services. Our staff can drop the client off at their destination or remain with them as a companion. If the service is a drop off service, the Responsible Party must sign stating that the client is safe to remain alone. By utilizing our facility transportation services, you will seek comfort knowing that the van drivers have the following qualifications:
- CPR/First Aid Training
- Driver’s Record Checked
- Drug Screened
- Criminal Background Check
- 20 hours of In-Service Training Yearly
- Dementia Specialist Certified
- Trained in Defensive Driving
- Insured/Bonded
Our van is regulated by the Office of Regulatory Staff and is inspected on a routine basis by the state to maintain safety guidelines. The van always has the following items onboard in case of an emergency:
- First Aid Kit
- Fire Extinguisher
- CPR Mask
- Disposable Briefs/Wipes
- Emergency Contact Numbers
- Roadside Assistance Bag
Aging Gracefully, Senior Care Services takes pride in caring for the elderly population. Our staff understands the needs of the elderly and provide assistance getting on and off of the van as well as assistance to their front doors of their house or destination. Our clients’ safety is our priority.
